Time to get back to blogging. After reading today, I sit here wondering what would happen if those who do know the Lord would start talking about what He has done more than anything else.
Like we read in Psalm 105:1 – “Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done.”
No matter who you are or what you do, God is at work in your life. He loved you enough to come to you and offer His Son like He did, and by doing that He let you know that He loved you too much to leave you where you were at that point. His Word is enough to challenge every one of us throughout our entire lives. There’s not one of us that has reached a point where God has stopped doing something in our life. For that reason I get on my computer and blog, podcast, and design websites for His glory. He continues to stir my life up, but I need to stop in the middle of all of that and thank Him for how He got me here.
Today I thank Him for my extended family. I thank Him for bringing my aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other to a point of knowing what He did for them on the cross. I live my life so that others might see Him, but thankfully He doesn’t rely entirely on me to open the eyes of others. God’s blessed me with a great immediate family as a foundation, but He has called me to make Him known to the people I am able to. I pray today that those that come in contact with Gabe, come in contact with the Spirit at work and only see what God can do with any of us. His name will be known, not mine. It will always be God’s Mac, not Gabe’s.
