Thanks for the posts, Gabe. I'm in sort of a similar boat... I work a full-time job, but I get to work from home several days a week. What I like to do is get up really early so that I can take a long break in the middle of the day with my family.

How do you balance work and family life? Is it a battle for your wife to have you home all the time, but only 'home' sometimes?

Thanks for the article... I am in a similar rut right now, that you were in a few years ago... God has provided me with the equipment, talent and even a customer base. I have realized that He has given me all I need to make this happen... even the desire... My problem is in my faith and trust... I see the nice, large, "steady" paychecks and I know it is the easy way out. I know where the problem is... and I am taking steps to fix it. I am learning a step at a time to trust God more and give up control. He has done everything else for me.
Thanks again for posting the article... It is an inspiration.

Great article, takes a lot of faith and endurance to meet the challenge of being self-employed, but with the economy being the way it is today, many people are making the choice to do just that, keep putting your trust in the Lord he will give you the strength to keep on, keeping on! :o)
