Man, I used to wish I could be an audiophile (totally into stereos) and used to spend hours trying to figure out how I'd assemble the PERFECT system if I had the cash. But one day I realized that I was just trying to create my own heaven on earth without God. And that I'd never succeed. So I stopped chasing it. One of the best decisions I ever made.

Peter - you got that right. The closer I get to God, the less I personally crave gadgets. Our energy, money, and passion that we give to decisions like that says quite a bit.

A struggle for every Digital Disciple, I believe. A struggle that will only become more of an issue as technology improves and attempts to satisfy more temporary desires.

I fear that in 7 days time I will discover that my new iphone 4 will fail to satisfy.

No, I KNOW it will, because there is nothing that can satisfy like God!
