Our Family – Fall 2011
Before all of the leaves fall off the trees, I thought it would be fun to take the family out for our own photo shoot (thanks to a tripod and wireless studio light). It’s crazy for Marla and I to look at this photos and realize how tall the girls really are getting. Thanks God, for my beautiful family!
Trip Lee
It was a privilege to capture my second “People of Faith” photo shoot/audio interview, this time with the talented rap artist Trip Lee. I’ve been a big fan of Trip’s for a few years now, and it just so happens that my brother Tug is traveling with Trip and the rest of the awesome Reach Records artists on the Rehab Tour this fall. This week they made a stop here in Columbus, OH – a night that I sure wasn’t going to miss. The church that is having Marla and I fly to Minnesota for a speaking engagement were even cool with letting me fly up a day after her so I could stay back for the show and to capture this installment.
Thanks Trip, for letting me hang with you. I praise God for what He’s doing through your life. I’m very thankful for the lessons of humility and faith that I continue to learn through the words God has given to Trip. For those visiting this “People of Faith” installment, please be sure to purchase Trip’s music (songs “The Invasion” and “Brag on My Lord” featured in the interview).

Stanley Tam
This is the first of a series of projects that I’ve wanted to attempt for a while. A project where I stand behind the camera and microphone and put the focus on the life of another person. I challenged my friends (online/offline) and family to recommend “People of Faith”, individuals who are living a life that they greatly admire. Today that person is 96 year-old Stanley Tam, founder of U.S. Plastic Corporation.
After putting lots of time and thought behind this, all I ask of you – regardless of your faith or lack there of, is to take a few minutes and listen to the audio interview while also enjoying the photos. Let me know your thoughts? Better yet, let Stanley know your thoughts by commenting below the photos. I’ll be sure to share this with him – I’m sure he’ll get a kick out of reading them. Be looking for the next interview in the coming weeks – thank you for stopping by!

A visible faith
It’s not the water, the denomination of your church, or the right and the wrongs.
Sometimes it’s just about being genuine. Living out your faith in a way that can’t help but be seen clearly. When we make daily choices to follow God, either for the first time or more closely, He will be glorified and will be evident in our lives. If He’s not yet in yours, maybe you really haven’t decided?
It’s clear in the video below that some people have decided. Great stuff, Elevation Church (Charlotte, NC)!
